Just a country girl kicking around the dirt roads taking pictures of trees, gates, animals. cactus, and anything else that strikes my un-fancy mind. You are welcome to take a look and come back if you like.

Ya Got Anything To Eat In There?
I think if I opened the door the cows would get inside the truck with me sometime. The cows were nice this morning and drank their water on the other side of the tank so the turtles could eat without getting stepped on. Number 12, the Mama of Josie came up behind me and mooed so loud I almost toppled over into the water. She loves her cubes and lets us know. Josie has no interest in letting us pet her now. She is trying to be just one of the cows. It's amazing how pleasant it is early in the morning out there and how blazing hot it gets in the afternoon. I don't know what happened to all of my turtles. Only about six come out to eat and about four of the kind with the long slimy neck I don't like. John took me to the back forty to try to see some animals he saw recently on the banker's property but they weren't in sight. The Purple sage is blooming again, supposed to be a sign of rain so we can use more about now.

What a great picture! I just love the relationship you have with the cows. :)
that is so cute! and laughing at the image of josie's mom scaring you into the pond. :)
Guess Josie is growing up. Wonder what happened to the other turtles???
Seeing the picture of the cow at the car window brings back good memories of when we lived on a farm and had cattle too.
Oh ho, sometimes the big guys could be too friendly. We walked down in the lake bed today, pitiful how dry it is. A dry dusty road where there should be 25 feet of water.
Glad Josie is trying to fit in. Good news.
((HUGS))
I have a purple sage bush in my back yard....love it....and it DOES know when it's going to rain. Amazing.
My hubby has cows come and lick his truck when he is hunting on his farmer friend's property. Its funny when he comes home and there are lick marks all over it. They think he's going to feed them.
What a great photo!
Purple sage is beautiful. There was a lot of it around San Angelo but I haven't seen any when I live now.
So Josie is becoming independent. That is good I would think. I bet she stays close to mama. I have not checked my tomato plants yet so better get with it. Hope you enjoy your day with Jack and Sherry,
Sounds like like is moving on there as it should be. sandie
