Mystery Never Solved

Remember these statues on my header, I wrote and wondered about in the past? They are on the interstate on land between San Antonio and Corpus Christi. We always passed them on the way to On The Farm to buy feed. I had made up my mind I would ask the nice lady who always waited on us about them. Maybe she knows something and maybe she doesn't but the last time we went there she was too busy for me to question her. Then John stopped buying feed there, he follows the prices. Today he went back there and I was chomping at the bits because I couldn't go. Had to stay here for a repairman to fix a leak and a short. I ask John if the lady was there and he said no a young man waited on him and he didn't see the lady. It wouldn't do any good to ask John to ask the man because John wouldn't have a clue what I was talking about. He can sail right by an outstanding mystery and never see it. I'm saying there is not just one of these statues they are scattered around the property and don't seem to be used for anything. They don't look old either. Am I the only one who sees things and wonders?

the largest one could almost be a gravestone. the others remind me of chess pieces. i hope you'll be able to ask the lady some day. :)

YES of course I remember them. I meant for us to drive by ourselves, but having the boys to entertain I forgot. Dadgummit, I wish you could have gone. Maybe next time the prices will be right and y'all will go back. Love a mystery...
