Early at the ranch

We were out burning pear before day light. The grass is greening up so we won't  have to do that chore much longer. Nice to be out early to hobnob with the wild animals we saw deer ,wild hogs, cardinals, and a raccoon on top of the hog barn. I wonder where all the cottontails were that John keeps telling me about.

I guess I will get my wildlife fix from you down in Tex and Mel up in Wisconsin. All I see here in Georgia is animal paths.... I have got to get one of those trail cameras and see what goes on when I am not around...

Love from here... in Georgia

I was going t0 just write it in my blog but I wondered, do you notice little things with John, the stubborn bohemians, are getting more forgetful and do you ever wonder if the memory loss is getting worse. I worry about Joe because I would have to learn how to fill the car up and our car is old so I would have to check the oil, brakes. The kids would do it for me but they would not believe how many lights can come on in the dashboard and the computer is acting up, not to worry. I go in the 11th of May at 6:00 AM for surgery and may be able to come home the same day or next day for sure.

Okay...saw the photo in the previous post and had to come see whatca'all were doing. Thank goodness the grass is greening up. But you won't be able to sleep in...ranching is hard work and long hours.

Now, tell me, is a wild hog the same as a javalenia?

guess it's spelled javelina. Sorry 'bout that.
