All the blue bonnets, Indian paint brushes, and other wild flowers are gone, but this one flower lives on in the back yard. It is one tough cookie. It has survived the law mower, the heat, and us dragging the garbage to the curb. IT will be interesting to see how long it survives because it still looks fairly good.

Tough, and also beautiful... Good picture lady!
The mower and dragging trash to the curb? lol That is one tough cookie! I wonder what it is. I've never seen one before.
what a pretty little flower.
It is an Indian paintbrush! We had one that also continued for quite a while.
Isn't it pretty!!!. Mine is pretty to. Joe waters them for me. We had a record of 105 here. Talk about hot. Supposed to be in the mid to lower 80's next week. We will see.
Looks like a flower that imparts secrets. Lovely.
