This and That

We took a little ride out to check to see if our friends house and land is for sale yet. She passed recently and we were being nosy. No sign on it so we ended up on Old Adams Road. A new road to us, we made a circle and ended up at the cemetery where she and her husband are buried. The grass is wet from a few showers we have been having so we didn't stop to visit. Came home to hoe some grass burrs but it started to shower again so I had a good excuse to quit. Hope Lucy a dear blogger is okay. I know she has had a lot of trouble with her computer but I was seeing her on Facebook some. Haven't seen her there either for a while. You get to know people here and sure miss them when they disappear.

i always worry about folks that drop off suddenly, too. if i ever stop posting and visiting without saying something, you'll know something bad happened. :)

I went to a quilt store and another store that my Mom and I use to visit along the coast a few weeks ago. I told them that my Mom had passed away and they were so thankful. They said so many times they never know what happens to people but they never see them again. It made me sad to be in those places without my Mother but it was nice to talk to them about her and hear how fondly they remembered her. I hope you hear from your friend soon or find out what happened.

We share many curiosities.
Yeah, I miss Lucy. Hope She, Spunky and Joe are doing fine and the only trouble is the CONFUSER!
Love to travel Texas with you and John.

I wish I could ride the roads again, I miss that. I get to ride them with you, though, and that's close. :D

It really is hard when people who have become friends just disappear. All these years I've been blogging I always gave advanced notice if I was taking a break - until the last time. Hope I didn't cause any hard feelings or worry! I certainly hadn't intended on being away for so long.
