My Two Cents Worth Into Blogland

John and I haven't had a single mystery in the last twenty four hours nor has there been a new baby calf born so I went digging through my pictures so I could post something. Most of you know we drive to Poth, Texas, a town east of here to buy cattle feed. Sometime we take a country road if John is in the mood. On one of the roads we pass this gate into a ranch. Maybe you can see the sides doesn't match. I like for things to match, my sunglasses and socks, my hat and my tee shirt so this gate puzzles me. Well I guess we do have a mystery here. Why would anyone want a gate with two different sides? Maybe they don't like anything to match, huh?

The picture didn't show up as well as I thought it would with the tree in front of the left side. The hole on the right side is big and round, the left side is more narrow and long like a church window.

it is hard to see that. i thought it was because they had what looked to be coyote fencing in the left hole, but they left the right one open.

It is an interesting gate, for sure. But like you, I like things to match.

Maybe it's me, that could very well be possible, but I enlarged the photo and the sides look the same to me, just different vegetation.

I like it.

Something in me wants shapes to match. Something in SHERRY wants my clothes to match! (smile)

Maybe I'll be brave enough to crawl through the gate and take a picture from the other side. Haven't been back to Poth since we were sideswiped by a large oil field truck. John has to rough it alone.

My guess the Misses like one design, he liked another. This is what they settled on...lol

Paula, if they plant a tree on the right, maybe it will balance better for ya!

I agree with you - - I like things to match, too, but I think the gate is very interesting the way it is.
(Hey, thanks for your continuing comments on my blog. It's good to be back).

Maybe the Mr. and Mrs. couldn't agree....so they agreed to disagree and each had their say?
