Taking A Break

A beautiful day at the ranch as long as we stayed inside the truck. The wind was a little sharp out, but the sunshine was bright and warm. As we drove to the pens to put out cattle feed a fox ran out of an old shed. We don't see many of those. When we came back around I ask John to stop so I could take a look to see if it had some babies in some big old tractor tires. No such luck, but wouldn't have that been a neat blog picture? We moved the last bale of old hay out of the old hay yard. There is part of an old chimney there that two buzzards had taken watch from. They didn't like us disturbing their peace so they flew off. We were happy to see our flock of wild turkeys by the dry creek bed. We hadn't seen them in a while. The ducks flew off from the stock tank. They don't like us either. Guess it's quiet for the animals since no one has lived on the place for a while.

It does look like a pretty day, yes I know, it can be deceiving when the sun comes out.
