Chores Done Before The Bad Weather Hits
We left the house at seven thirty and got back home at nine thirty. Put out feed and a bale of hay. Found old Jersey to give her special feed,spoiled girl. I didn't get out of the truck except to take this picture of an old peanut shaker taken over by two types of cactus. When we passed the cowboy's house we noticed his horse had it's coat on. Everyone preparing for bad weather the weathermen are predicting.

we're warmer today than yesterday. already 35 whereas yesterday started at 18. :) still, there's a chance of wintry mix this weekend, so...

Yes that peanut shaker has been there a long time. It belonged to the original owner of the place. It is a two row and they use a bigger one now. Guess it will sit there until it rusts into or maybe when the grandson gets moved in he will dispose of all the junk around there.
Nice that folks leave junk around for us to photograph!
You know it is amazing how much old equipment is lying around, and some of it just posing for a picture.
Nice of the cowboy to give the house a coat.... (smile)
Eventually old junk becomes antique and worth something again... In the mean time it makes good material for photography!
Never saw a peanut shaker before. It's kind of neat. hang in there with the bad weather.
I hope it doesn't get too bad for you, weather-wise. We were supposed to have a wintry mix moving in tonight and tomorrow, but now they're just calling it showers. I like the sound of that much better!
