Old Jersey is so spoiled John feeds her where ever he finds her on the four hundred acres. He would carry feed and a black oil pan to feed her in. The only Problem he kept forgetting where he fed her and left the pan. Before Christmas I went to The Dollar Tree and found this bright pan and also a spare lavender one. Now when I have to track her pan down it's easy to spot.

Clever idea. Love the green pan. Bet the lavender is neat too. Easy to spot for sure.

Looks like he's definitely enjoying the green pan :)
I just stopped back by fromJimmy's journal, somehow I knew you would know that was a can opener!!! I think every GI came home with one or two!
Seeing the picture of your Jersey reminded me of time our friends bred their Jersey cow to an Angus bull courtesy of the "man with the bowler hat" and the calf that was born was so beautiful (very dark with a reddish sheen), but that didn't stop us from buying it and eating it. And he was quite tasty, too.
