Cow Confusion at the Ranch.

John was to meet his daughter at the ranch to force feed the newest baby because it wasn't doing quite as well as it should. John was the first to arrive. As he turned into the lane he saw a strange man running across the land. He thought of giving chase in the truck but thought better of it not knowing why the man was running and not knowing who he was or why he was there. Lawmen of different departments started arriving with red lights flashing. John was confused and didn't know what was going on until one of the lawmen pointed to a truck crashed against a Mesquite tree. They had seen it go through town and somehow knew it was hauling a load of illegals. When they hit the tree they all bailed and none were found even though they searched all over the acreage. John was glad his daughter was there to help repair the two fences they mowed down. The cows were quite upset and confused. Even old Jersey wouldn't come near her pretty little snack bucket. She knew that sailing truck loaded with jumping and running strange guys wasn't the dirty work truck with the old guy who always gives her a snack.

Shame. Didn't realize cows were so smart.

Oh my what a day you had. Glad the cows are safe and that no gunshots were fired.

I knew right off what was going down when I first started reading.

Poor cows!! This was highly unusual and impeding in their natural habitat!!

Kind of a hair-raising story, to think that those guys are running through your fields. The cows are safe, and that is the important thing. No wonder they are wary.

Amazing and it seems no one wants to secure the borders. Glad it was no worse, but I have done only small fence repair, I can imagine the damage a truck will make. OUCH

I hope things start looking better soon, with the Border...
