This is the water tower in Poteet, Texas. It's a cute strawberry but doesn't look large enough to provide water for over 3,000 people but I'm sure it does. Poteet was named after the first postmaster there and is twenty miles south of San Antonio. It is known as the strawberry capital of Texas, and is host to a large festival in April every year. Poteet also is the birthplace of George Strait the popular country music singer.

how cute!
Cute advertisement for their festival too. I agree, it doesn't look big enough.
What a sweet water tower. I have never seen anything like it.
Paula, you have given me someplace else to go to visit in Texas! Thanks for the cute picture.
Yeah, I could use a big hunk of Strawberry short cake!
Texas has produced a lot of good singers, but they haven't discovered John, the singing rancher yet!
Apparently there were strawberries before there was a water tower. LOL While I knew Strait was from Texas, I didn't know the town before now.
