Thinking of July and August

Another gloomy day, but I finally drug myself out of my nightshirt to go to the ranch with John. I have to keep reminding myself the hot days are right around the corner so be thankful for moisture and cool weather. My old truck 2006 Ford Ranger got broke in today. John's work truck is having a problem so Betsy had to fill in. She has mud on her floorboard, such as she has never known. Her sides are filthy from the oil field trucks passing. I know she must have scratches from the mesquite along the ranch lanes. The cold, damp weather and bumps didn't do much for my nerve pain either. On the bright side we have thirteen babies on the ground and they are doing well.

Sorry to hear about your truck. Know how bad that nerve pain can be. You hang in there.

I hate for the inside of my truck or car to get dirty, but out and about in this messy weather they will. I hope your back gets better soon I'm having some of the same problem with mine. I hope I don't have to get another shot. Take care. Jean

Oh, my. Hope when the weather is better, John will get your truck cleaned up for you. Riding is harder and harder for Pete these days...even on highways. So, I can just imagine what those bumpy roads and pastures can do to you.

I understand how cars get so dirty on the outside but I don't know how the inside of my car get to be the winter disaster. I hope your transportation can greet sunshine soon.
