Another Different Fence

I see this fence every time I go to San Antonio. I always wonder why someone decided to put cross hammers on their fence. John says they are hatchets, I say hammers. If I said they are white, he would say they are black. I was on the shoulder of a main highway so I didn't get the picture I wanted. The first place I stopped there was too much junk behind the fence. I wanted to get A longer shot as they placed the cross hammers every so many feet.

Sorry you can't see the cross hammers. I shouldn't have placed it here.

actually, if they're axes, they might be a fire dept or search team symbol, i'm wondering.

YOu definitely find the unique ones. It sure appears to be an expensive one, methinks.

makes for an interesting fence whatever they are.

I'm sure they mean something to the owners.
Funny how men always think they have a better idea or grasp on something.

Men....they're so contrary sometimes. I would say they're works of art...no matter what they're called. LOL

So green....I love the green in Texas this Spring. Long time coming it seems after such a long drought.

I agree with you. They're cross hammers.

I'm going with hammers. A soccer team here in the UK called West Ham are known as the Hammers and they have the same crossed hammers as their badge.

Hammers, hatchets, axes, or whatever; they do adorn the fence nicely! Love that blue sky too.
Have a Beautiful Day!
Peace :)

Whatever the decoration is it's a unique fence. Maybe sometime you can go back and get a closer shot.
