We checked on the eggs in the park. Only three left and still no mama around. A man brought his baby daughter over to watch John feeding the ducks. John gave her some bread to help feed while the daddy took pictures to show mama. Then we drove up the highway to see how the railroad is coming along with the clean up from the train derailment.

love the little group feeding the ducks. so sweet. :)
The little ones (and oldsters) like feeding the ducks.
That is one big mess to clean up!
Thanks for the updates. We have sorta been wondering about the eggs, I guess we have no little duckies from that nest.
A train wreck takes longer than a car wreck to clean up, I suspect. Of course I have never seen one.
Love from NC
Sad about the eggs. Nature can be cruel. What do you think got to them? Feeding the ducks with bread is always fun. Glad the little girl got to join in on the fun. How sweet.
Too bad that the mama never returned!!
But, seeing the duck feeders...and feeding ducks myself...it's just such a pleasant time had. I enjoy it. As I enjoyed your photo.
The repair work is coming along nicely.
That train derailment mess must be an awful challenge for someone, as the cars have to be so heavy. Cute for the little girl to get a chance to feed the ducks. At the little creek that goes through Boerne there are many many ducks, and the kids all love to feed them.
That looks like a pretty place to feed the ducks. That is a big mess to clean up, maybe it won't take too much longer. Take care, Sheila
Nice little outing. Shame about the duck's eggs.
Such a sweet photo feeding the ducks. Looks like an oil painting.
