Waiting For Me?

I like to pretend this little rabbit is waiting for me to bring it pellets when actually it is in this area to steal cow feed. I'm so glad the rabbits have come back though. We see a couple of jackrabbits in the lane going to the back forty and two cottontails near the cattle pens. John has someone shredding the sunflowers down. His landlord wasn't happy that hadn't been done because the contract reads the land was to be kept in a farm like manner. As I've said before these are not the big plate size flowers to make bird seed from. The kind that grow here grow so thick and tall the cattle doesn't like to walk into them. The farmers and ranchers doesn't like them because they sap the moisture out of the land so the green grass can't grow which the cows live on and won't eat sunflowers.

Paula, I think they are really weeds, and we know how hard those are to control! Cute little bunnie.

It is probably counting in you to bring the pellets. I do love the bunnies, and squirrels etc.
Yes, I read somewhere that the BIG sunflowers have deep roots.

This dude knows Ms Paula is an easy touch. It heard thru the bunnie hot line.
I always love your inter action with the 'creatures' that roam. I would have thought that cattle would eat the sunflowers, little or big.

Our bunnies who used to come to the back yard in the late afternoons disappeared for a while but I was happy to see one back a few weeks ago. I like seeing them and I don't have a garden for them to raid so whatever they find to nibble on around here is okay by me.
