Cattle Hauling Cowboy

Some of you may remember me writing about the old cowboy with dusty boots and hat who hauled John's cattle to market. He developed cancer and wasn't able to work. We haven't seen him and John is hesitant to call anyone who is ill or stop by to see them. I've been working on him about that. It's not right to use people when they can be of help and drop them when they can't. So out riding today we passed his place and I drove in. He came out and seemed to be so happy to see us. No dusty hat and boots and some weight gain. He says he is doing well but can't drive anymore. I think both men enjoyed the visit.

That is awesome you two stopped by for a visit. Yes, sometimes humans need a little push in the right direction, and you saw the need to call John on this to stop by. I bet he WAS happy to see you both.

What a warm feeling comes from this post. our instinct was well-proven. Since he couldn't drive
he must be lonely for company. A good one. Paula.

That's great that you did that. I think some people don't know what to say to others when they get sick or have hard times. That's when they need our support and friendship the most!
