This is the only area in Atascosa county that I know of where these pretty flowers ( weeds) grow. Once I dug some up and planted them in my yard around a tree. They grew so tall I had to tie them to the tree with string to keep them upright. Then they died. Dummy you put weed and feed on the yard. These flowers are weeds. The weed and feed did it's job.

Oh I like how their lovely shade of color glows!
had to chuckle on the weed and feed. they are pretty against the cacti!
Pretty flowers - - and, for some reason, I've always liked prickly pear cacti. Have you ever tasted cactus candy?
Sometimes in life we hit the delete button at the wrong time. hahahahaha
Love ya, Good one!!!
Think that weed and feed would kill off a lot of real flowers too. Shame, those were pretty. :/
The flowers (weeds) are pretty and oh my those cacti up against the fence are wonderful.
Sorry for laughing, but this is exactly the kind of thing I would do! LOL! They are pretty weeds, though.
We usually let the weeds grow, especially if they flower and the bees like them. Pretty purple, love the cactus too.
Happy Friday, have a great weekend!

You can't call yourself a dummy but call yourself a lovely person who appreciates beauty in nature. It the dumb world that has us hooked on poinons. LOL
I send you happiness and warm sunshine.
Beautiful. I still have a lot of wildflowers. I made seed packets from all the wildflowers for the open house we had. If I had your address I could send you some...Yes Texas Wildflowers, a mix.
That sounds like something I might do!
I've often wondered how weed and feed can be selective! I was in your county on my trip recently taking a picture of -- you know.
