Theresa's Good Fences

This is the only area in Atascosa county that I know of where these pretty flowers ( weeds) grow. Once I dug some up and planted them in my yard around a tree. They grew so tall I had to tie them to the tree with string to keep them upright. Then they died. Dummy you put weed and feed on the yard. These flowers are weeds. The weed and feed did it's job.

Pretty flowers - - and, for some reason, I've always liked prickly pear cacti. Have you ever tasted cactus candy?

Think that weed and feed would kill off a lot of real flowers too. Shame, those were pretty. :/

Sorry for laughing, but this is exactly the kind of thing I would do! LOL! They are pretty weeds, though.

We usually let the weeds grow, especially if they flower and the bees like them. Pretty purple, love the cactus too.
Happy Friday, have a great weekend!

Beautiful. I still have a lot of wildflowers. I made seed packets from all the wildflowers for the open house we had. If I had your address I could send you some...Yes Texas Wildflowers, a mix.

I've often wondered how weed and feed can be selective! I was in your county on my trip recently taking a picture of -- you know.
