Lots Of Ladybugs

Before the last good rain we had our outside brick walls were covered with very small black bugs. We didn't know what they are but after it rained we thought they sensed it was going to rain so they crawled up high on the house to get our of the water that was coming. They are still on the house, just seems to be doing nothing. Today I paid close attention to them trying to figure out what they are. They seem to be Ladybugs turning into their color. Wow we are going to have lots of them and I think they are supposed to be good to have around but I can't remember why or what they are good for. I'm sure someone here knows and I know I could look that up but I need to play my word games to rev my brain up.

I don't know anything about them 'cept they fly and are cute little things!

I never noticed one before it turned red. I bet you will be nice to 'em. They heard that you feed everything! LOL

I'm not positive what you are talking about - maybe Asian Beetles - little lady bug look-alike, supposed to eat aphids. A rotten nuisance, is what they are. They have infiltrated my womb, crawling along the ceiling and dropping into my hair, my soda, everywhere! I snapped them with my fingernail and sent them flying until I noticed how bad they made my hands stink. If I roll over one with my desk chair, the stench wafts up to me. They make permanent stains on fabric is you squash them.

They are cute, alright, and I wish they were gone! Vacuuming them helps somewhat, but it makes the air coming from my cleaner really reek.

Ladybugs are cute, the look alike can be just plain annoying. I literally shoveled them out of one of the outbuildings at work one time.

I've always find them intriguing.
I'm sure they're good for the ecosystem. :D
