Sunbathing Rattlesnakes

I heard on the news today that Rattlesnakes have arrived at the beach in Texas. They mentioned in particular Galveston. People never worried about them before walking at the beach in Texas. They think they are nesting in the dunes. How odd, wonder where they came from and why. Be careful Anni.

I guess they like that salt air. That is strange when at the beach a Rattler is the last thing I think of.

Makes you wonder what drew them there in the first place - or made them flee something else ...

I saw many rattlesnakes when I lived in Texas, but I NEVER knew they could be at the beach! That's amazing.....and scary.

Oh this is no fun!!! Another birder told me [and others on a birding forum] that a Texas CORAL snake was spotted where Bud and I frequent to check out the feathered friends.

I HATE SNAKES.

I've been in central Texas for about ten months and haven't see any yet. I like to beat the crap out of them with a tire iron.
