A Gate Attached To Good Fences

We got 1/2 inch of rain at the ranch last night so it was too wet to drive around. When we got home we changed trucks and went another direction to dodge wet ground. I suggested a road and told John how to get there. He ask me how I know it when he isn't familiar with it. I say when you're a widow you either pull you self up by your boot straps or you stay home and whine. When we got to a highway we turned on an excess road to wind around in a pretty area of ranches with scattered big pretty ranch homes. Finally We came upon a ranch where the public road goes through the ranch where you access it by going over a cattle guard to get in and to get out. There are no fences so the cattle can roam at will crossing the road at Will. We don't see that much here so we do enjoy a ride like that and the area was so nice. The picture with a deer on the gate I picked for Theresa's Good Fences came from another ranch along our drive.

Rain in small amounts is always good. :-)

Love this fence. Very cool. The ride you took where you knew the way sounded nice. It's fun to get out from under routine and do something different.

How nice you were able to get out for a drive and what a neat gate you found. The buck is impressive on the gate.

There is so much I donot know about the Widows and the Widowers.(not anxious to learn personally), But you make me proud ow you did not crawl into a shell. Think of all the back roads I would have missed, not to mention old Toby!

Love from NC

I love that gate. We have not had a very rainy spring here in Germany, thus far. But I am sure that will change :)
