At one time John leased a place of over 1,000 acres to run cattle and grow peanuts. The Orange Lantana grew in the fence lines. I dug some up and planted it in front of my house. It looked very pretty for free. Since I have trimmed it back so many times it is looking kind of scraggly. I guess a bird thought so too because it planted some by my back step and it looks prettier then the original.

That's very pretty.
Yes, the birds plant some nice things, don't they?
Good bird. :)
I like Orange Lantana. It is lovely. Let's hear it for you and the bird.
Very nice of the bird to do your gardening for you! I think we have that out by our peach trees. Pete noticed a blooming plant, and asked me what it was. I told him, I don't know, but it is pretty. Probably a bird dropped that seed as well.
Revisit the Tender Years with me during the #AtoZChallenge at Life & Faith in Caneyhead!
They looks good. Birds do many good things...
The bird obviously knew what he (she?) was doing. They are lovely.
Yep, it is amazing how nature helps its ownself out! Now if they would just follow directions and plant them along property lines!

I love all Lantana...the pink/yellow, the all yellow, and the rusty orange/red.
