Announcing----

We have four new kittens and we don't even own a cat. How did that happen? John never liked animals except the ones you take to auction and make money off of. Now that he is semi-retired he has taken to cats and hummingbirds. When he started feeding our neighbor's cat at the back door I told him that cat is going the have kittens one day. He didn't pay attention. Sorry no pictures yet, they can scoot under his shed door in a flash. He likes to tell me when to feed the hummingbirds as if I never fed one in my life. Yes I could tell him to feed them himself but he will tilt the feeder until the stickiness drops on the porch and then there are ants to fight. The kittens are pretty but aren't they all?

Kittens are among the most happiness-inducing things in the world :) I would have 50 if I could!

Is your neighbor wondering where the kittens are? It might be nice if you could keep one or two. Know what you mean by ant attraction - our problem here has been the wasps coming after the juice ...

I think it is sweet he has a soft spot for kittens and hummingbirds. I love them too. Can't wait to see a picture.

Well - hummingbirds are a lot easier to care for than kittens but I like them both. My father always hated cats, but he changed his mind in his old age. When I got my cat Scratch (who was only 3 months old at the time) my father really liked her.

Can't wait to see the kittens. More mouths to feed, in addition to the hummers.
