For Good Fences At Runaround Ranch Report

This is an old type irrigation system behind a fence. John has used both the old and newer type to water peanuts.

I always smile at the mention that John raised p-nuts at one time. My dad did also, but in North Georgia where they didn't need the irrigation.
He would think back to that time in the early 1920's. Daddy loved p-nuts until he died.

Hugs to Brother John!

Great farming shot. Some farmers around here still use that old style.

I never thought about peanut growing in Texas. I can see why he would need water to get there. Guess there is a lot of stuff I didn't know about Texas.
