Scribbling

Thank goodness for other people's blogs to give me something to remind me of something so I have something to post about. Oh that is a lot of somethings, huh? Jack at "Shipslog" had a picture of a little girl who had scribbled on the wall so here goes----When I was in the first grade we lived in the country. We rode the bus to school and there was not enough buses so we had to wait after school for our ride home until another route was done. One afternoon while we were waiting some older sisters who lived down the road from us said lets write our initials on the door facing of the restroom. It was a building out away from the school. I think at that time it had flushing toilets, not sure so don't know why it was away from the building. I don't remember knowing it was wrong to write on the walls but I learned it the next day. They started writing or maybe pretending to but I really got into it. With very large letters I printed PRM. Boy! was I proud of myself. The next morning when I was given a rag, soap, and water, I wasn't so proud.

We learn don't we? Right from wrong. And pay the price.

That's funny, Pauline! That was pretty young, did that teach you a lesson or was that the beginning of a lifetime in graffiti? Ha Ha

Poor little girl Paula! I can just imagine the mortification you felt when you realized what you were proud of turned out to be wrong.

LOL...reminds me of one time I thought it'd be cool to put my name in wet cement my father just laid and smoothed out. I itched for weeks after I had to use the trowel on it later that day [cement is ITCHY]

Oh, my, this reminds me of something I have not told about Lorelei. She is usually a good little girl...just turned 8. Last summer for some reason she took an ink pen and wrote on the car door armrest...Well, I got really upset with her. I did not notice what she wrote...later when I was on her side of the car and took a good look, she had written "I love you, Mamaw"...I will never clean it off. I have not told her mom...I was aggravated enough for both of us. I really think she just wasn't thinking...she is always taking post-it notes and leaving me little 'I love yous" here and there.
