It's getting too hot to go out picture taking so thought I would show one of my projects from a long time ago. You can see the gold paint coming off the blue Miracle Whip lids. There are eighteen of them to fit on the shelves of my hutch. I put a different mushroom decal on each one. I still use them for rice, pasta, brown sugar, and such. I don't even know if they still make these decals that you dip in water and slide off onto your project. Didn't take too long to save this many Miracle Whip jars as my girls liked tuna salad made with it or potato salad. I would cry if I ever broke one since they are an important part of my kitchen.

Cute, yes, think they still make decals. BUT, now it seems all the Miracle Whip lids are plastic. I do not like the plastic lids. I wonder if the sealing lids still fit on the jars ... I made some jars similar to those years ago, they were the best organizers, weren't they?
what a fun project. delightful way to display your stuff. i can understand why they are so important to you.
I like this. How sweet and conservative. Something I would not have thought about, but a great idea. Iffn I had thought of that before we started rolling we would have had some! LOL Amazing how well the decals have held up!
I have not seen those decals in years, but then I have not been looking for them. What a great way to use the jars.
Your jars are wonderful! Fills a useful purpose, looks cute and were economical to create!

The jars are cute but I never could stand Miracle Whip. Now if I could use Smuckers jars....
I like this!!!
Now-a-days the jars are lousy plastic, there'd be no replacing 'em Be careful not to break any.
