The License Plate Man Is Back
After a vacation while a sidewalk was poured the license plate man is back to welcome displaced persons from the hurricane. Hehas his umbrella and is wearing his rain coat and rain boots. Not to make light of the situation, but to bring a smile to lighten their load. Our town has helped with a place to stay at the Catholic Church and several people have accepted donations in large trailers and transported to people in towns hardest hit from Harvey.

Nice to see license plate man has a sense of humor. I'm sure the help from your city is very much appreciated by the victims who received it. It's wonderful to see neighbors helping neighbors, wouldn't it be great if this camaraderie could happen without a disaster?

I just cannot imagine what the people are going through...we watch it on TV but I know it doesn't touch how it is being there.
YES, anyone under stress and hurting can use a smile. Glad so far you guys are doing well. Such a sad thing at the coast and inland.
Thanks for clarifying that Jack. Yes we didn't have any bad weather but we are close enough to the coast that a lot of people stopped here instead of going in to San Antonio.
