Santa And Friends

d Santa And Friends

Santa arose from his cozy warm bed to take a ride in his bright red sled.

Stopping at the home of a little grey rabbit, for many a week this had been his habit.

Rabbit hopped in trying to hold on tight, while Santa turned left and then to the right.

A beautiful cardinal perched on Santa's shoulder, as he made a stop by a big round boulder.

A little green lizzard was sunning on the rock, he climbed aboard making the seat belt lock.

On down the road and along by the creek. All his little friends Santa was trying to seek.

Santa saw an armadillo rooting under a log. Looking for breakfast but he only found a frog.

They both joined the ride to laugh and sing. hitting the bumps made them want to cling.

They all rode and had fun until almost dark, then all agreed it was time to park.

Let Santa get to work, friends go home, until Santa again decides to roam.

cute little ditty, you aught to set it to music. I like the poetry, and the idea that Santa also does some other nice things. He doesn't mine entertaining animals. Very original! (Still just a little time left to say again MERRY CHRISTMAS!
Jack (I guess the Armidillo makes it a Texas Thang) LOL

Love the poem. Paula my brother has been a
pain in the butt from a small boy and he is
not going to change at this age. I try to hold my own with that boy. Pray for me. LOL
