Just a country girl kicking around the dirt roads taking pictures of trees, gates, animals. cactus, and anything else that strikes my un-fancy mind. You are welcome to take a look and come back if you like.

Here Comes The Dog
I mean the bride. Oh I don't know what I mean I wasn't there but I heard about it today. I went for my last accupuncture treatment today. The DO who does it is such an amicable young lady and she talks to me while she is sticking the needles in. Today she told me about her wedding about a year ago. It was on the Texas coast and her dog was the ring bearer. Your dog knew what to do I ask and she said yes. She said when the preacher ask who gives this woman in marriage the dog made little noises with her Dad saying I do. The dog had his own little personal cake. She had told me her husband had two dogs and one cat so I ask how her dog liked that. She said he loves his step- sisters but there isn't much room for the young newly wed couple in the bed. Another thing is cute about this couple she is the doctor and her husband is her receptionist. At least while he is going to school to become a teacher.

What a delightful dog story. You are good at getting the cutest stories out of people that others would not think to query. I will bet you are such a friendly person, your questions would be hard to resist. Besides, you should tell them, I need a good story for my blog.
wow, thats pretty cool that they got the dog to make a noise when they asked who was giving her away, lol. Just wanted to swing by and say hi paula! I know I'm not on much lately but thanks for being a faithful reader and a friend.
I keep telling people....dogs are just little kids with lots of hair......great story...
Enjoy...LindaMay

PS
We went out on a country road yesterday (or when ever I can't remember for sure) but we saw a herd of the prettiest cows. They looked like Black Angus with a big white belt around the center. You probably know them, I had never seen anything like it. I want a picture for my blog any. Will get one soon.
That is "A big white belt around the middle"

That is the best!!! Thanks for sharing that story :)
I would loved to have been at the wedding. That is hilarious. There is a man that is a member of the Hardee Bunch. He divorced his wife because the dog sleep between them. But he learned how to fold dog diapers before he left. It may come in handy.

How funny!

I can see the dog walking down the aisle. They're lucky he didn't hear the call of nature.

That sounds like an interesting wedding ceremony. I hope her hubby catches up with her in his career. Helen
Aww that is cute about the dog... The husband being the receptionist is certainly unusual :)
Take care Ms. Paula.
I just howled at this entry... that musta been some wedding and I really enjoyed the way you wrote about it... I'm not sure which part was funniest... the dog saying I Do, the wedding couple not having room in their bed, the husband being the receptionist or the dog dealing with stepsisters.... LOL LOL LOL.... and how about the dog having its own cake!? LOL ... Darling entry Pauline! I have an award for you to pick up in my blog... stop by when you can... it's in the Eight Cool Blogs entry.

Thats so nice that the dog was able to be a part of the wedding, and cool too. :) All those critters in the bed with you just keep you nice and warm. ;)
That gives a whole new meaning to loving your pet! My dog would of pee'd on everything just to show whose boss or because he was nerves about the event! Great story. Thanks for sharing!
