Just Checking In On Sunday

Just a quiet Sunday here. We went to church and there was actually 14 people there. Now that is a crowd. Quite a difference in it and Cowboy Fellowship where we used to go. The attendence there was anywhere from 700 or 800 to 1,000 people every Sunday. This historical church is made of the old sand rock that a lot of homes and buildings in this country are made of. There is a room built on for sunday school or socials and it is starting to crumble. They have contacted the historical society to make sure it is okay to tear that part down and rebuild. We made our trek to Wal*Mart and I forgot some things as usual. Seems Wal*Mart is our main source of entertainment these days so maybe I forgot on purpose so I'll have an excuse to go back tomorrow. We do have a movie theater with four screens and a bowling alley. I've been to the movie theater once and never to the bowling alley. Oh well! We've got cows and cactus. What more could we want?

Okay, now you have three 'C's', Cows, cactus and the CAT!
Yeah you have hit the bottom socially, WalMart for entertainment!!!! LOL Don't get me wrong Walmart is our choice of places to shop. Since they are consistant across the USA.
I like the church with a crowd when we are traveling, that way we don't STICK OUT, but I like the small church for a home church.
I think yoiu have made a good choice.
Take care,
Jack

To lead a quiet and honest life is always best! Sometimes a nice little church is better than a big one. I've attended large and small and medium sized churches. Have enjoyed each one. Tried to learn as much as possible in each one. It is so good you are faithful. God bless to you and yours,

I'm getting back to the basics in life, and it starts with a smaller church. I tried the big one and just felt invisible. I hope to get more involved too. Sounds like you've made a right choice. Blessings!

As long as I am somewhere there is a Walmart I am all set it is even better if it's a super Walmart. Do they have the Red Box at Walmart where you live that you can rent Dvd's for only $1? I love it no late fee's its just a dollar more every day you keep it. Do you have any pictures of that church? Have a good day!
