How About A Line Or Two Or Three
In my last entry Marlene continued my poem If God Was A Cowboy. How about adding a line or two or any amount you would like? I know there are great poets out there and so what if it isn't great it would be fun. Thank you Marlene I like your part very much.

I am glad we reconnected also. I was always saying I would never go back to farm life as I knew it, and I don't think I would but it is amazing how much I enjoy hearing about your country roads. I did not know that about feeding cows. Life is so different now .
OKAAAAY!
If God was a cowboy He would be faithful of course,
I'd want to be close to Him, so I't like to be his horse.
Okay so shoot me.
Take care.

If God was a cowboy He'd open his arms
embracing the animals who live on the farms
He'd give them safe places to run and to play,
Living in happiness day after day.
I am far from a poet but I thought I would play along. :)
IF GOD WAS A COWBOY
THEN HE WOULD BE THE BEST
OUTRIDING ALL THE OLD ONES
ROY ROGERS AND THE REST
NO OTHER COWBOY LIKE HIM
THERE EVER WOULD HAVE BEEN
NO HOLSTER WITH A GUN SLUNG THERE
WE WOULD NOT HAVE SEEN.
HE'D RIDE THE PLAINS AND PASTURES
WITH A POSSE BY HIS SIDE.
EACH ONE WEARING WASTCOATS
WITH A BIBLE TUCKED INSIDE
IF GOD WAS COWBOY.
I'D BE HIS BIGGEST FAN.
FOLLOWING HIM LIKE I DO NOW
DOING THE BEST I CAN.
TAKE CARE GOD BLESS KATH XX
