New Flea Collar Caper

I do love my kitty but she made me so mad this morning. She has been scratching lately so I bought a new flea collar even though I haven't seen any fleas. Took off the old one and she liked that. Measured the new one and cut it Started to put it around her neck and she ducked and ran. I need four hands when I do anything with her. We headed tantivee ( I hate my dicitionary, it doesn't have any words like that in it) to the ranch. I told John on the way I forgot the turtle (dog) food. He said you don't have time to feed any turtles. I have to get back to mow the grass. Since when has he been anxious to mow the grass? He turned the well on to add water to the stock tank and we ate our taco on the tailgate with the renters new doggie begging so we shared with it. It is still small enough to get out under the fence and has learned to love tortillias. We did come straight home and John did mow the grass and I did some trimming sitting on the bench from time to time to contemplate the beautiful job God did. Have you ever thought about how everything just blends in to make a perfect world? The trees for shade, the grass growing right up to the curb. Birds chirping, even the bugs have a reason. Just think of man's brain to figure out how to invent the air conditioners that are purring everywhere so we can keep cool. I'm still overwhelmed when I think of what God has done for us.

Such a nice entry. I stop and look around all the time and thank God for the wonderful job he's done. I often say it out loud too. Did you ever get the flea collar on? I can relate to needing 4 hands, or more sometimes. LOL.

AMEN FOR WHAT YOU SAY PAULA.

ANOTHER EXAMPLE OF GOD'S WORK THROUGH PEOPLE : THE COMPUTER CAME WITH THE WISDOM SENT TO BILL GATES AND OTHERS AND DOES NOT THE HUMAN BRAIN COMPARE WITH THE COMPUTER ? STORES MEMORIES BY THE THOUSANDS.

WHEN OUR TURN COMES TO STAND BEFORE THE LORD WE CANNOT DENY THE CONTENTS OF THE MEMORY. FORTUNATE FOR WE WHOM BEFORE DEATH HAD REPENTED OUR SINS AND ACCEPTED JESUS AS SAVIOR, SCRIPTURE IS PLAIN AS TO WHERE WE WILL SPEND ETERNITY.

NOW ABOUT CATS. UNPREDICTABLE. DOGS ARE ATTENTIVE AND FAITHFUL ALWAYS. sam

How true Paula. My beagle is not very attentive, and not extremely faithful. Can be very independent.

it is so true. I love the way everything blends. once a week you can give yur cat some wet food, and mix in a little garlic and that will get rid of the fleas. I save all of "fat pieces" and brown them up with some garlic mixed in and the dogs and cats love it. No fleas here.

Yes, we have some beautiful sights to see in this world. A lot of them we take for granted. Even watching storm clouds forming and lightning can be amazing. Take care, Sheila

Your kitty sounds exactly like mine. I think I need more than four hands to handle her. I've been trying to cut her claws for two years, with no success. Any dog who likes tacos is a dog dear to my heart.

I can't even imagine what Texas summers were like before they invented the air-conditioner! Thank God, indeed.....

okay, you done it now. TAlking about grass cutting. LOL. I always did cut our grass, when we had some. But I usually did let it get ahead of me, until I got real lazy and got a riding lawn mower.
Yes the world and creation is amazing, it's beauties are usually undescribable, but you do a very good job with the describing.
Good 'un.

Hi Paula,

I just love days when you can sit back and appreciate all of God's beauty he has given us. I do not know why you bother with cat collars anymore, get that stuff at walmart that you just put on their skin and it lasts for a few months. You just have to put it right on the back of their necks and they are walking little bug killers. Enjoy your weekend!
