Home Sweet Home

I said knock knock but no one came to the door. Does anyone know what kind of animal would live in this type of home? John doesn't know, I don't know but its perfect. Out of the wind or rain, cool in summer and warm in winter. A safe home except when and if it floods unless it is a water animal. This is a dry creek bed and don't let it fool you. We have seen a wall of water come down from the north. The water runs down fast and just leaves puddles that the cows like to water in. This is one of my peaceful spots on the ranch. When John has not seen a cow for some time and he is worried I will drive him to the head of the dry creek bed then I come back to this spot to wait for him to walk there. I get out, sit a spell and observe and think. The pipe looking thing behind the "home" is an oak tree root. It grows all the way across the dry creek bed. Home Sweet Home to which ever animal lives there or if one lives there.

I must admit I have never seen anything like it, but it is pretty. Hope you find out what lives there. If you do, please let us know.

That is strange. It does sort of look like a big rat. We lived on an acerage next to the blue river and they have absolutely the biggest river rats. I do not like them. Thank you for encouraging words. I think I am trough the rough patch.

Giant ants that only work at night. OR they all attend UT during the day cause they love to shout "HOOK 'EM HORNS" and are gone when y'all git there.

I know what you should have been, an anthropoligist sp as you are one of the most observant country people I have encountered. Now you have got me curious. I hope you find out what lives in this home. Termites?
