Miss Kitty the cat didn't move.

This is bye bye land for cattle in our county, the cattle auction barn. This is not John's cattle, just some waiting to be auctioned off so I snapped the picture one Tuesday. John did sell five large calves and his daughter sold three today. Of course John is hardly ever happy with the price he gets. We had some nice rains today and it is much appreciated but that means the turtles will be on their own for a few days. Too wet to drive around and I'm not real stable walking in mud. Don't even own a pair of rain boots. Heck it never rains and when it does I wouldn't rmember where they are. I hope the turtles remember how to scavenge. To our surprise when we drove up Miss Kitty came running. We thought the renter lady had taken her. All I could find to feed her was some old bread so I'll take some cat food tomorrow. Miss Kitty is actually a fixture of the house. Although she is the second Miss Kitty. That was a mystery. The orginal Miss Kitty disappeared and a smaller Miss Kitty took her place but other then size they look just alike.

Well, somebody's sadness at giving up a critter might be somebody else's delight as was mine when Dad brought home Grandma, an old Jersey cow who I loved almost as much as my real grandma as long as she lived, she was so gentle, so sweeet, so easy to milk, a joy of a cow, and I am sure the people who took her to the auction hated to but there must have been a good reason...

Glad that you checked on the house so you could give kitty something to eat. She is probably the offspring from the first kitty. Helen

Nice of you to take care of Miss Kitty. Maybe she's the original Miss Kitty's daughter.

Hi Paula, Yep I would tattle. I love your new look. I now want a turtle but have not broke the news to hubby or Spunky. I just might surprise them one day.

Hi Paula, love the new journal format and of course, love the turtle (I stop for turtles!). Glad "Ms Kitty" has you in her life. Sounds like you have a very caring heart. God Bless.
