Little bit of updating

Remember the lady who was bitten by a baby rattler? We were at Wal*Mart to get our flu shots and we talked to her husband. He said she is doing well now but it will take a long time for the bites to heal. He named several places right here in our town where baby rattlesnakes have been found rencently.
The farm house has been rented and I can't believe John told me he told the people when they ask if they could go around the stock tank they could but they would have to feed the turtles. Guess he is getting tired of me saying wanna go feed the turtles? They better not take my turtles away from me. I haven't met them but from what John says they may work out. They are a family from his hometown right up the road. The man told him they have always passed by and wished they lived there. They had the rent, deposit, electric money, and said they would clean it up. John and I had swept out and hauled off all the trash but it still was in need of cleaning.
John's daughter has been in the hospital since Tuesday and will be transferred to San Antonio tomorrow where all her doctors are. She has lots of health issues so I won't try to get into them now but it has slowed down everything.
It is still very hot here. The humidity is terrible and the grass burrs are growing like crazy.

Those people sound like they have good possibilities as renters.

I wish I could share our cool air with you!

Good morning, Paula.

Glad to hear the lady is mending from her wounds. How terrible! I remember when we lived in TX, I almost stepped on one of those things. I don't know how I managed not to get bit, but God had grace on me that day. My father got rid of it and all its relatives that were hiding under the lawn mower.

Sorry to hear about your husband's daughter, pray she gets well.

God bless!

I hope they will be good renters and will stay a while and feed Miss Kitty. I hope you can still go feed your turtles. Helen
