Quality Time With Shelly Marie

We left later this morning to feed the cattle. It was nice and warm but a little breeze blowing. I spent quality time with Shelly Marie because she looked so sad for some reason. She didn't even rush to the hay, she stayed by me and we talked. Well I talked and she listened. I don't know what was wrong with her but she is old so maybe she aches at times too like I do. She has the longest white eyelashes. I ask her is she wants me to bring some mascara for her eyelashes and a red bow for her tail. Maybe that would cheer her up? John did all the work today as I had acupuncture yesterday for my nerve pain in the back. I'm glad it doesn't hurt to sit and ride. Just when I raise up from a sitting position. When we got to the tank there wasn't a turtle in sight so I got out of the truck to call. First one swimming as fast as it could across the tank from the far side. Then they started popping up everywhere and they seemed hungry. I took lots of food today to get them ready for cold weather that is sure to come back soon.

It worries me when an animal acts differently than usual.

AWWWWW, then ,maybe she is in love and can't get to him, like Calijah and the wooden indian maid.

Maybe some of that girl stuff would cheer her up you ladies put a lot of stock in that. So do it. (BUT DON'T LET JOHN OR THE OTHER SEE IT) The others will demand equal attention.
Hope the back is better.

Hi Paula,

I bet she would look so cute with a red bow on her tail. If you put one there then you will have to get a picture. So your turtles are back. That is awesome, I guess they do remember you.

I am so happy when I talk to you, or I should say read you. You have a love of animals which makes you a first class person in my book.

I love that you name your favorite cows...Shelly Marie sounds like a lovely lady. And, you must be the best Turtle Lady around. I cannot get over how they come when you call. Unbelievable but cool.
Bless Your Day
