Fun In The Sun

This is the cow trough the renters borrowed from John for themselves to cool off in. Instead they turned it over to their ducks and geese. Poor ducks I noticed when we were out this morning the trough is turned upside down. Maybe they cleaned it and can't refill until John gets through adding water to the stock tank. It has been running three days and nights. I'm sure the cows will appreciate the fresh water and the turtles too. Two of the turtles are getting big and another one not far behind. I haven't seen Lucy in weeks or the cat fish. We found Shelly Marie up at the pens alone and did she get special treatment. John gave her sweet feed just for her alone. Now there is reason for this. Shelly Marie is pregnant AGAIN. She doesn't have a tooth in her head and John wants a healthy calf. He mentioned he could get more money for her now then ever. I didn't answer. Ginger and her pal are still running together but Ginger became an un-pet really fast. She has nothing to do with us. We saw Mama Twiggy with her own personal personality. She always stands near a fence and away from the other cattle. We spotted a very large wild boar out in the pasture so we drove that way but couldn't catch up with it.

Do you mean Lucy could have formed an alliance with the catfish?? lol That water looks sort of cool but I have not seen a stock tank for a long while.

How sad that Ginger became an "unpet" so quickly. They sure do grow up fast these days!
Best,

Ahhhh little subtile hints about Shelly Marie, but congratulations to the old girl anyway. I know she appreciated the sweeets especially with no teeth.

I guess the water is precious, in that heat.
Hot here in Missouri also.
