Just a country girl kicking around the dirt roads taking pictures of trees, gates, animals. cactus, and anything else that strikes my un-fancy mind. You are welcome to take a look and come back if you like.

John Came Home To New Additions
John came home to two new additions and more. Two new baby calves arrived with no thanks to me. The mama cows did it all on their own. Farm house had been without water for several days but they are in business again. The renters put three small white female ducks in the stock tank. It didn't take long for a brown wild small guy duck to move in. I can't wait to see what the babies will look like. I hope they will join the dinner table when I feed the turtles. Not sure if turtles and ducks mix but we'll see.

Never a dull moment, eh?
I know ducks and snapping turtles don't mix!
Maybe little duck babies....brown with white spots...or....white with brown spots...huummmm...??
Enjoy
Soooo even in his absence his herd grows. I am sure cowgirls aren't supposed to help with the birthing unless asked by Mrs. Cow. A baby gift will be fine I am sure. hahahahahaha
Glad to see all is well, the folks probably figured how to get by without some piped in water. We all have at one time or the other.
Have a great day!!!
be best if those ducks don't get any babies. Turtles snap them up in a minute. I saw that happen once. Helen
the ducks might like some fish
I'd give anything to have your life...really I would. Your place sounds like home to me.
