You Know You're Old When------

You know you're old when you get an invitation to a dance on Monday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. We have been getting invited to different social events by a health organization but never went because I didn't think any of our doctors are connected with this particular organization so we didn't know where they got our name. This time it is to an appreciation dance and we have to take our invitation to get in and for an entry for a door prize. we've never been to a dance at eleven o'clock in the morning but there is always a first time. we decided to go and see what this is all about. I called in our RSVP last week. I've been confused about the invitations all along because I'm thinking this health organization is connected with the clinic here which I'm sure we don't qualify to go to for medical care. If they give us any flack we will ask them why are we receiving all these invitations and please take our name off their list. In the mean time surely they will let us dance this one time if we still know how and being over at two we should have enough time to get home before dark. lol On thinking about this I have come to the conclusion they may have our name from several years ago when flu shots were hard to come by here in our town. We heard that senior citizens on Medicare could go to the clinic to get a flu shot so not having gotten one we went there to be immunized against flu and therefore was put on a list.
