It's Not Everyday You Turn 75

My daughters gave me a hi ho time and we even got the waitresses at The Little Red Barn in on the act. Steak and salad just what a country girl likes. Then on to Rivercity mall to visit a long time friend who works there. Walking down the mall we decided to get a tattoo. Spur of the moment decision. To get matching ones or go one on our own? I got a dragonfly, Leah got BRAT, and Lynda got a heart with little roses. Lots of fun and joking with the girls doing the tattoos. They assured us they will only last two weeks and if we get desparate we can take them off with alcohol. We caught the barge for a ride down the San Antonio river after the hot sun went down. Haven't done that in forever. Home for chocolate cake and ice cream while admiring the pretty flowers, blouses, and earrings they gave me. Next morning we had breakfast at Sally's here in town and for lunch we ate at a quaint little place that was once a filling station. Met an old line dance friend working there with her daughter. Good heathier food, lots of fruit and veggies. When she found out it was my brithday she gave me a free piece of cake to take home. Wow I guess it isn't so bad to get old if you gat treated to a fun time like that. Thank you Lynda and Leah.

Glad you had such a good time on your birthday with your girls. That's the best kind. 75 is kind of a magical number like 80. Last year 79 didn't even get a tumble for me. Ha.
