A Strange Thing

To me it was strange. Yesterday we went to the cemetary where my husband is buried to put flowers on his grave. He is buried in a very large cemetary along the San Antonio river. It is perpetual care and the city allows them to water the grass from the river. Yesterday it looked bad. I'm thinking with the drought they may have stopped the use of river water or maybe they don't have the man power to take care of it as they once did but that isn't what I'm writing about. Near my husband's grave is a very large statue. Below the statue are squares about a foot wide and a foot tall. Some have names on them or flowers attached, a few are blank. John ask me if that statue has always been there and I said yes. As he walked toward it I noticed one of the squares was open. I have never seen one open. It looks as if they have been sealed. Some flowers were on the ground and the lid or cover was stuck inside on an angle. I said there is an urn in there. John replyed what is an urn? Its what they put dead people's ashes in. So we looked at the cover without touching it and there wasn't a name on either side. Hummm was there ashes in there? Did the hour reach five o'clock on Friday and the worker left without completeing his job? Someone had been chopping on a tree stump by our grave sites and the pieces were left there. Maybe they don't pay overtime? I can't wait to go back out there and see if that square has been sealed up. Maybe I should have gone to the office to inquire. At least if there are ashes in there the person is already dead and can't be harmed. I'm hoping the worker just went for a coffee break and came back to finish his job.

Gosh, I hope the worker was just on a break. That would be pretty unsettling if it were a member of my family.

Our brains work a lot the same. Those are the same things I would have been wondering about.

i see you are involved in a nother mystery. Something about Texas, huh?

That does seem funny (strange). I am sure you will be back, so you can let us know. It doesn't seem right, looks like it would have been closed when the ashes were inserted???

Anyway let us know if you learn anything,

I would go to the office if I were you. I have before where my mom and dad and brothers are buried. Also at Wyuka when I found my nephews stone so loose you could spin it. The donut hole is so close I am hanging on by my fingernails. My Ins, girl just fooled around and now I don't know when I will get the papers back from the 2 Dr's I dropped them off to.
