When Does A Subject Become A Whine?

This is a what the ranch looks like minus the green streaks other then where John has been running water to grow green grass for the cattle. We go to the ranch, we feed the cattle and the turtles. We do all the usual things but its no fun. Everything is dead, dry, and ugly. Today we had an added burden. The wind and when the wind blows on these country roads where there are fields that are not planted  the white dust is everywhere. You feel it in your throat and hear it in your voice. Well we are suppose to have a cool front tomorrow as in 97 degrees and 59 at night. That 59 sounds good but can I believe the weatherman?

I just received an e-mail from a cousin who was requesting that I join him and a group in prayer for rain in the USA where needed. I stated Texas. Of course I will join him.

When there is an emergency, baby, it ain't a whine, it is a need. And sounds so sad.
but it has got to come soon. So let it rain. I guess a rain dance wouldn't hurt.
Take care out there.

I have been wishing and desiring for rain to come your way for a long time. If whinning would help I would whine with you. Like Jack says, I am sure people all over are praying for rain. I am adding myself to the prayer chain. I was raised to pray and believe.
I wish you had some of my nice easy rain that is coming down presently. We are getting this off of Tropical Storm Lee.

We are finally getting some rain from that tropical depression. We are under a tornado watch, I just pray there is no tornado. I have been praying that Texas would get some rain. Helen

Paula, you are not whining and I wouldn't blame you of you did. All the floods and to much water and floods and you are still dry. I pray for rain for you and think of you when I see terrible fires.

It's not a whine, Paula. It's been tough, this aweful draught. Thank God we here in SE Texas got some relief with slow, long 24 hour drizzle. Me and my sister were out shopping Saturaday and getting wet all over, laughing and giggling about it like school girls. I hope you do get to enjoy the cooler temps and that you also will get some relief from rain soon.

We just went from 100+° to 70° today -- and it didn't stay 70° for very long. Quite a shock! I hope it stays in the 70s and 80s this week. I'd love to have some comfortable temps before it gets really cold.

Well Fall has made a tease here with 48 degree temps at night. Maybe it'll head your way soon.

You are not a whiner. Period. You are more a pick yourself up by the bootstaps type. This is a very legit complaint. ~Mary
