Are Nerve Pills For The Cattle Next?

John just got word from one of the landlords at the ranch that a gas pipeline will be run across two of the ranch properties. The east part and the back of the middle part. Wow how is this going to affect the cattle? They are getting used to all the oilfield traffic. We met about twenty very large frac trucks this moning. They probably fracked a well last night or maybe more then one with the amount of trucks and were on their way in. We knew there was an gas line going through but had no idea it was going to cross the ranch. Where it is coming from and where it is going we don't know yet but it will be interesting how it affects everything. I'm sure they have it down to a science and will do as little damage as possible. It has just been an unusual year for this area with the drought, the oil boom, and now the gas line. Poor little cows have less and less peace.

Poor herd. I hope it doesn't disrupt them too much.

Gas lines are part of this country now. I guess the owner will get paid, while the leasor will put up with the disturbance.

Best of luck and I hope you get that tire changed. LOL

I have messed up my blogs somehow, but maybe I can get it strait soon.

We are having a trans Canada pipe line go through the sandhills and is supposed to go a lot farther. Farmers fighting it but I bet Canada has its way. I told Joe, it would be interesting to see what all is under our ground but not sure I want to know. Hope the cattle get used to it.
