I was in the bathfoom last night when the wind was whistling. A tornado crossed my mind and I looked over at the bathtub with thought of taking my pillow and crawling in. The rain was beautiful here and at the ranch. With the little one and this one we got four inches at the ranch. The cows are already ignoring us. They are such fickle girls. The stock tank has plenty of water and the grass looks to be growing already. We had a hard rain about three in the morning and then a slow rain to soak in the rest of the night and into the morning. we're so thankful. Hope others who need it so bad got theirs too.

That is good news...I know all of the cowboys and cowgirls in South Texas are very thankful! The fickle girls knew the rain would come in time..lol.

Great news. I have never got in the bathtub in a big storm but our German Shepard did. Had to have Joe help him out and then scrubbed it, filled it and bathed then went to work to sweat in a hot dry cleaners.

Glad to hear that you all got that much needed rain.Wish one of your calves were in our back yard to mow down that tall green grass. With Ken having surgery and me being down in my back and using a walker for almost two weeks that green stuff is getting out of control. Helen

Great to hear you got rain! I happened to see the national report and when I saw the front moving over Texas, I thought of you (and the cows, turtles, yadda yadda).

Looking forward to some greener pictures!

Finally, TX is getting a few drops of much needed rain. My lil Sis who lives in your north central state, got 3 1/2" when you did...prayin' in keeps coming slow and soaking! Greener pastures are on their way. There is nothing finer, than looking over a massive green pasture of TX.
Now, about your Bossy Boss cow, I get that way myself~~~gotta get to the trough and get my minerals til I'm full of it!=:)
