Just a country girl kicking around the dirt roads taking pictures of trees, gates, animals. cactus, and anything else that strikes my un-fancy mind. You are welcome to take a look and come back if you like.

The Chili Pot
From a distance this looked to me like a chili pot. This is on the east property and we hardly ever go to the back side there. I guess because the cattle doesn't hang around that area. When we do go that way I could see what I thought was a big chili pot and I always wondered Why someone (probably a hunter) would forget their chili pot or at least not go back to get it. A few weeks ago when we were over there and passing the chili pot I told John to stop and let me look in the chili pot to see if there is anything in it. When I pulled on the handle it was attached and the whole thing came up in my hand and the bottom was open. We had a good laugh. Now I'm asking someone to tell me what it is. I'm thinking it goes on the top of a house but I still don't know what it is doing out in the pasture.

Hey, I see the light! I have beent rying for 15 minutes to get the comments section. I was giving up hahahahahaah
I was gonna say it could be used to cover a rattlesnake until you found a stick! hahahahahahaah
You've got me stumped, Paula...I don't have a clue.
I just had to click reply to see what would happen. Good idea to cover a rattlesnake. Maybe we should carry it in the back of the truck and to think all these years I thought it was a chili pot.
I couldn't post a reply here yesterday either.
I have no idea what that is but I sure am glad you didn't find any icky surprise under there!
Welcome to my blog Ade. Thank you for the comment and come again.
What is with the reply? I thought no one liked me anymore. Finally Jack and Tarytarre left a comment.
Lucy I haven't been able to read your blog or comment. Gosh I miss you girl.
It is good to know others are having trouble reading and oommenting that has been my problem. I thought it was my computer and I had clicked something wrong.
Looks like a pot to me with the bottom rotted out because
of being left out in the weather and stuck in the ground.
Maybe it was used by Aliens.
