My How Times Have Changed.

John should have his own blog. The guy, man, boy who is helping burn pear for the cattle. I don't know what to call him has become quite the conversationalist. Yesterday he told John he was thinking about quiting that job as he doesn't like to get up in the mornings. Eight o'clock or nine if it is extra cold and he asks John to come later so he obliges. He told John his Dad told him he should keep helping John since he has ask him for the job. Today guy told John he is trying to father a child. Duh! I thought you needed a job and a good one to provide for a child. I'm so old fashioned.

Why don't you let John write a guest column? That would be a gas!

As for the man/boy - He's lucky that John has patience. I would have sent him on his way.

I agree, jobs should come before kids. My husband is, I have found quite shiftless when it comes to work and we barely scrape by with my Social Security money while he goes to school online and fixes computers to sell once in a while. John should have a blog, that would be interesting!

Fathering a child just means more money from the welfare people...why work when we give them money not to?

There is something refreshing coming to Paulinescountrytales. Yep John is patient, or easy (with some things), I get uneasy about the fathering a kid, I hope the cows aren't endangered!!!!

But maybe I am way out, I hope so.
Fathering a child without a permanent job, crap!!! Stupid.

UNbelieveable.

'Citing things on the ranch, or strange renters.

Shucks, fathering a child with out a job, house or wife is stupid.
Something is missing in folks nowadays.

I am still around Paula. Middle of changing doctors. Insurance problems. I am old fashioned to but this guy sounds kind of off the wall.

Paula, you always write a good post, but this one takes the cake!

I agree, John must be a good and patient man. At least, he gets a certain amount of entertainment as he works and something to tell you when he gets home...lol.

Geeez, like my old, old-timer neighbor says,
"What's wrong with this country and these kids these days?" Morals are tough to teach when they just don't listen, I know too well.

Have mercy on a kid that wants
to bring new life into the world
without a job. Another one we
will pay for. Some Kids wants everything free they don't know
work brings money in that helps
them survive.

That is a good share of young peoples attitudes today. Makes you wonder what kind of values the parents have.
