Maybe I Should Fry That Chicken

I once read never let your computer know you are in a hurry. I have come to believe that statement is true at least with my old computer. I've spent about an hour trying to place a picture of Maria's chicken as my header. Then I wanted to tell about her (Maria's) family. Oh well when has that ever stopped me before from telling my country tale? Maria and Juan got married. He with his kids and her with her kids. Later they had their kids. Juan was able to buy a small  triangle of land between a dirt road and a farm-to-market road. He was able also to buy an old trailer house and they set up houskeeping. As the family matured and got married they would move another old trailer in. They didn't have it mapped out. Just by the size of each trailer they moved each one in to where they fit. I won't even go to where the sewer lines might go. Maybe they know more about that then I do. Juan finally was able to build up a small herd of cattle, a couple of donkeys, a few chickens, dogs, and cats. With the kids grown and in thier own trailer Maria was able to get a job. Juan baled hay for people and even collected scrap iron to sell. Things were looking good for a few years until Juan was hit with a disease. He has his good days and bad. John bought his small herd a few years ago. Kids and grandkids took over the hay baling so Juan can rest more. Someone gave them a trailer house nice enough to be called a mobile home and they put it slap dab next to the old one. I think all the room has been taken up now. Like the saying goes sometime you just need to take the bridle off, throw the skillet away, and let the panther scream. Where I'm going with this entry I'm not sure. I think I'm trying to say be happy while you can. If you live in a trailer or a mobile home, a mansion, or a shack, home is where the heart is.

I've never heard that saying before and I love it.

Wise advice, Paula. Very wise.

I think you were going exactly in the right direction with this. Chicken pic or no.

Yep, you always get there. And the idea is a good tale, and you done it girl.

I am one who likes to live and let live when it comes to land, homes and houses. (Lots of tales there too).
Honest people do the best they can in life. Some can do better than others. I admire honesty and true ability to get by, some how. Because in the end, we are on the same level.
Love Juan nd his fmailiies! And don't know them.
