Just a country girl kicking around the dirt roads taking pictures of trees, gates, animals. cactus, and anything else that strikes my un-fancy mind. You are welcome to take a look and come back if you like.

A Peaceful Easter in God's Country
We headed west to Hondo, Texas where John's son and family lives. As we drove into town we were greeted by the sign that reads-- This is God's Country so don't Drive Through It Like Hell or some such words. We turn right past the little antique shops and out into the counry. They have a little country house they built themselves and all decorated in country, two barns, and a field or two. A yard with big shady oak trees and a fence made the old fashioned way with the post horizonal instead of vertical except the corner post. After lunch we sat on the front porch where a cool breeze was blowing facing a second yard covered with some type of yellow flower. It was a peaceful quiet day with only the five of us.

Love the report of your day. I remember Hondo, but mostly because of the name. It just sticks.
