How Many Bird Feeders Are Too Many?

I found myself tiptoeing through the tall grass at the farm house as if I thought I could avoid the itchy crawly things. when John offered me a vase left behind by the last tenants I told him I didn't want anything out of that house. I'm glad I didn't mention the yard. My decision making ability tittered but not for long. This odd looking thing is in tall grass and it's upside down but I'm seeing possibilities. It is very heavy iron and my back can vouch for that. I'm thinking the wind can't blow it away or blow it down. It's on three legs and the top is shaped like a bird bath but not deep enough for water but deep enough to spread seed around. Sooo I'm thinking when I turn it right side up there will be room for lots of birds to feed. Now where to put it? You know men don't like to mow around "stuff". So I put it across the street in my front yard in a flower bed around the tree which is already surounded by edging so it shouldn't interfer with my neighbor whom I hire to mow my yard. I'm sure he will wonder what has that woman brought home now and just what is it? This neighbor doesn't feed birds or have pets. He barbeques.

Love the header.
never too many Bird feeders, just ask the birds (and squirrels!). Sounds like you have found another treasure. Great, Yeah, grass cutters dislike anything that ruins a 'long' run, and slows them down from the next drink.

Love from here!!!
