Memorial Day

My deceased husband Mel who served in the Army and was very proud to do so. He wasn't in a war but would have, had there been a war going on at that time. I knew today was Memorial Day but got confused and wished several a nice Memorial Day yesterday. John plugged an old skill saw into an outlet and knocked out half our electrical. It must have knocked part of my brain out too.

A standing Army is a deterant to aggression and therefore works to help perserve our freedoms. Everyone who serves is due our honor and respect.

It is clear you were/are very proud of Mel. And that is beautiful.

That's a nice photo - Mel was a handsome man.
The wind knocked out our power for an hour yesterday.

I was just enjoying a lot of your past entries. Where have I been?
Great reads, always. Another calf, turtles and catfish to feed, oil pipeline going in, John tinkering again and even stuff for the birds. I don't think the buzzards have a chance, girl. You're just too spunky. As for your dear Mel, thanks to him, even in down-time from any war, he did us proud by serving. God Blessed Him with you.
BlessYourHeart and John too!
