At Least They Knew I Wore Undies

Picture borrowed from Photo Bucket. Jack at "Ship's log" wrote about clotheslines and it made me think as usual. I had clothes lines in the 50's and 60's and used them. My Mama always told me to hang the underwear behind the sheets and most time I did except when I felt a mood of rebellion or on this particular day I only washed underwear. I brazenly hung them out for all to see. I thought well at least people will know we all wear them. Mel had a water drilling rig outside the fence of the back yard which is another story I have told here before and posted a picture of. I happened to look out my kitchen window and saw a van pull up on the side street and point a large camera out the window toward the drilling rig. To my dismay I realized the camera while pointing at the drilling rig was also right in line with the line of unerwear.

Maybe that fella with the camera was really taking a picture of your undies. LOL
I sure missed my clothesline. When Bill built the garage a few years ago, he took it down along with my raspberry patch. Just this summer, my son came with the best birthday present for me. It's a retractable clothesline. It's hanging on my deck so I do not have to do stairs with a heavy load of wet clothes. I love it. But, I still don't have any raspberries...hmmm, maybe next year.

Your undies have been blinked into permanence. Not everybody can say that. LOL Take care.

LOL What a hoot! At least you were decent enough not to show your undies while they were on your body. ;o)

I missed the HAPPY BIRTHDAY, hope it was the best yet.
I remember mama talking about how clothes were supposed to be hung. It is amazing the rules we 'used' to have.

They do not discriminate about the undies up here, they are right out front!!!!
